Store First
Commissioned by Store First to develop a CGI campaign showing off their range of self-storage unit sizes — and to make a famously dry subject feel a bit more fun.
What we did.
CGI brand elements, CGI for print, and animation/idents.
Self storage is hard to make charming. The product is, by design, an empty room. The campaign solved that by treating each unit as a tiny diorama — a stage set where the contents tell the story. Stylised washing machines, lamps, vintage suitcases, stacks of branded boxes, all rendered with a slightly toy-like quality that takes the edge off the corporate subject and gives the brand somewhere warmer to live.
The system was designed to scale across the unit range, from the smallest lockers up to the largest rooms, with each size populated to suggest a different kind of life behind the storage — a student move, a house renovation, a small business. Same visual language throughout, different stories per unit.
Delivered as stills for print, brand-ready CGI elements for ongoing marketing use, and short animations and idents for digital and broadcast.
