We spent a couple of immersive days with Parr Jazz at the Capstone Theatre and the Tung Auditorium, capturing their annual events, ‘Jazz for Girls’ and ‘Jazz Camp’. Throughout the process, we maintained a careful balance—engaging enough to document the essence of the occasion, while staying unobtrusive and respecting the performers’ space. This approach allowed every attendee to express themselves freely, without the added pressure or distraction of cameras focused on them. The culmination of the experience was a spectacular live two-hour performance in front of a full house, beautifully showcasing the hard work, passion, and dedication of all who participated.
